Chat with Tracy at Qode on WhatsApp

What you get

You talk to Tracy in a WhatsApp chat with her number. The first time, she sends you a link that connects your phone to your Tracy at Qode account. After that she knows who you are, and you just write to her.

• Ask in plain words: list your interviews, see who is on one and where their results stand, or check how many free results and credits you have left.
• Ask her to draft an interview, invite people by email, or turn an interview's open link on or off. She shows you a preview first, and nothing is created or sent until you tap Approve.
• She reads typed messages only, so send her text rather than a recording or a picture.

What Tracy reads

Tracy reads the messages you send to her number, and answers you in the same chat. She cannot see your other chats or your contacts.

Before you start

• A Tracy at Qode account. If you are signed out when you open your link, you are asked to sign in or sign up first and then brought straight back to it.
• WhatsApp on your phone, with the number you want to use with Tracy.
• Nothing to look up or save: you do not add Tracy as a contact first. A message to her number is all it takes.

Steps

1. Open a WhatsApp chat with Tracy and send her any message, such as hi.

   Scan with your phone's camera. WhatsApp opens with "Hello" ready. Tap Send and Tracy replies with a link to connect.

2. Tracy replies with a short hello, what she can do for you and a link to connect your account. Her message starts:

   Hi, I'm Tracy, an AI interviewer at Qode.

3. Open the link yourself. It is good for 10 minutes and is for your number alone, so do not pass it on. If it has run out, send Tracy another message and she sends a new one.
4. If you are signed out, sign in to your Tracy at Qode account. The page then shows your number, with all but its last digits hidden, and the email of the account it will be linked to.
5. Check that both are yours, then click Link my account. The page says your WhatsApp number is linked. Go back to WhatsApp.
6. Tracy has sent you a message that confirms the connection. It starts, after Hi and your first name if your account has one:

   You're all set: this WhatsApp is now connected to your Tracy account.

   She goes on to ask what you would like to do first, with a few things you can say.
7. Ask her something in that chat. Three to start with:

   Which interviews do I have?

   Who is on my customer success interview, and where do their results stand?

   How many free results and credits do I have left?

8. When you ask her to create an interview or invite people, she shows a preview with Approve and Cancel buttons. Read it, then tap Approve. Nothing is created or sent before you do, and Cancel drops it.

Check it worked

In your chat with Tracy, send the first question above. She answers with your interviews, read from your Tracy at Qode account, or tells you there are none yet.

Your account page shows the number as connected, with all but its last digits hidden, in the WhatsApp bot panel. The Disconnect button there ends the link: the next time that number writes to Tracy, she sends a new connect link.

If it does not work

• No answer from Tracy: check that you wrote to her number, then send a typed message. A recording or a picture gets a reply that she reads text only.
• Her link did not work: a link lasts 10 minutes. Send Tracy any message for a new one.
• The link page says connecting is not available right now: WhatsApp is not switched on here yet. Try again later, or write to support.
• You linked the wrong account: open your account, click Disconnect in the WhatsApp bot panel, then message Tracy again and open the new link while signed in to the right account.
• She says she cannot act on messages just now: she can answer in the chat again once it is switched back on. Meanwhile, use Tracy at Qode on the web.
